Just outside their ship's window sat the bleak black vacuum of space, the brothers were traveling to the planet Vegeta to enact the next leg of their plan. Recently unveiling themselves as leaders of a new emerging Conglomerate, the Ika Conglomerate, the brothers were in good spirits. It was natural that the first thing their minds wandered to was training. Power was the only route to maintaining an empire. They had made plans to start bright and early.
Ryme would stare at their insignia on their ship proudly, his brother should be out of his quarters at any moment. Having finally decided on their future, Ryme felt lighter. Now that he thought about it, they hadn't sparred together since he had left to gather the seed. He could tell from when he first saw him that his brother had distanced their gap again. That didn't mean Ryme wouldn't give him his best in training. Ryme had slacked a little while looking for the seed, he couldn't help himself. There was just something so alluring about television, books any source of media from other planets. Once you got the gist, the planet would become boring. That initial feeling of wrongness the subtle things in their storytelling, that's what made different cultures so inferior. Finding those differences was a form of combat for Ryme. He'd hear his brother walking out, and Ryme would holler at him.
"I'll be warming up in the chamber brother come in at any time."
He'd make sure that the settings were at x30 Earth's gravity. He always found it weird that even a Namekian ship would use Earth's gravity as the standard. That's probably why his brother had wanted Earth as their Headquarters. So many different parts of the galaxy recognized it as the center. He wondered how long would it be until the political branch before they were powerful enough to start shifting that focus to another planet. Years or centuries. That was when the gravity would activate, and Ryme would be ripped into the now.
He decided that today's warm-up would be a move he called squat crawl, on earth, they called them spidermans. Ryme hadn't yet learned of this spiderman, but he would be sure to enjoy his time learning about his chronicled adventures. He was on his second repetition when he heard his brother enter the room. While his skin wasn't itchy, Ryme was warmed up enough if his brother wanted to go straight at it.

Zero had just finished checking the Chrono in the cockpit area, which on this style ship was just a chair and a control center outlooking from a port hole that looked out into the vast empty sights of space. They still had a few days of travel left, and it seemed his brother had the right idea about getting a little training in, and this training would be in the form of a spar. Zero had a twist for him though. While his brother had taken the ship out in space while gathering the seeds to use the legendary item to further their growth as well as possibly end one of the largest threats to their newly formed conglomerate, it seemed that it was Zero that had pushed the distance between them, truthfully he had though Ryme would have come back to Earth already have mastered the highest gravity the Gravatron could offer, and then some. Doing so would have skyrocketed his power, but at last, it seemed his brother had been infected with Earthling Lazyness. This would soon be fixed, Zero would push the lesson that he himself had never forgotten from their Father. Your enemies would never wait for you to be ready, they would strike when you would be at your weakest.
Zero walked out of the pilot area and down the hall, hearing his brother yell at Zero grinned as he went into his room and got his Programabel Training Dummy, as he knocked back 1 of the Pre Work out mixes he had bought. Zero grabbed three of them with the training dummy and ventured into the gravity room. When he entered his brother was doing his warm-ups, some off crawling on the floor, which looked challenging. As soon as Zero entered the room, he felt his knees almost buckle as he felt the full weights of the gravitation pulling down on his person. He had not trained in the level of gravity yet, but would soon learn to get used to it. Again he had been wearing the Super heavyweights that he had not taken off besides hygiene time. This would enhance the effects of the gravity that tried to crush him. Zero slowly lifted his hand and tossed the three bottles of pre-workout to Ryme. "You can have these three, and make sure to take one before each workout you do, they will help you grow. The Earthlings call them Protein shakes, they help the muscles with gains. As you know, when in Rome."
Zero then moved to the side as he allowed the programmable training dummy to step into the line of sight for Ryme. "This device will help you and I both grow as well. Load program Chiller set the difficulty to Medium." The program began to run as the dummy began to change into their father, growing much taller and wearing the very same condescending look that the both of them had come to know.
"So, today's training is survival. This is going to be a free for all. Do not hold back, this thing can handle whatever we throw at it, so treat it as if it was our father because I have programmed it with all of Chiller's moves. I know I will, now then. Are you ready? If his brother showed that he was, Zero would walk further into the room putting equal distance between the training droid and his brother. The Droid would emit a count down in his father's voice, and then it reached one, it was time to go.

"3"He'd chug one bottle quickly, the taste was sour with a tinge of sweetness. The flavoring was one of the imaginary tastes that earthlings named after some of their fruits. Ryme never understood the point of this convention, to name things after others even though they didn't taste similar. As he walked back to his quarters to deposit his bottles, his skin would grow itchy, and he felt as if his blood was rushing. It was as if his warm-up had doubled, his body was more than ready to train. When he arrived back in the gravity room his brother would be explaining how his new training device worked and that it could imitate other fighting styles. "2"His brother seemed to look for more objects to help accelerate their power. It wasn't a surprise that creating a Conglomerate that spanned the universe was their united goal, Ryme had always felt his brothers yearn for power. He would question if he had that sense, the need for power. There had been another road calling to him since he had met Babidi, a pathway to a new style. He didn't want to be just a fighter or a magician, he wanted to combine it together and make it his own. Something different than the Majin's combination, Ryme wanted something unique. Still, his goal at the moment was expansion. "1"The training was live, Ryme didn't hesitate he wanted to see if he could destroy his brother's new toy. He'd throw a fully powered Ki Ball straight at a robot, no Chiller. Ryme wanted to immerse himself fully into the program, he'd think of him as Chiller. After firing his Ki Ball, Ryme would start to focus, the first blast was the constant, time for the variable. While Ryme hadn't been strong enough to continue training under Master Babidi. He didn't have the same problem producing magic as he did when he first started practicing. His newest difficulty was using his magic to augment his Ki, he had seen how Majin creatures combined it, and he wanted something different. Focusing his Ki he'd make another Ki ball, then he'd try...success he had managed to create magical spikes on the ball. Ryme would send it at Chiller, the ball wouldn't go more than 1 foot before the magical spikes vanished off the ki ball. Frowning Ryme would think about what he should do differently, he hadn't been taking the training as seriously as his brother warned. It wasn't a surprise when Chiller took advantage, one second Ryme was charging another Ki Ball in his hand. The next he was flattened on the wall of the gravity chamber. Chiller directly on top of him, Ryme knew if he waited long enough his brother would get him off. The thought disgusted him in training. He'd start trying to fire Ki Blasts with a magical outside to break any initial barrier, or at least that was his idea. Instead, the Ki and Magic interfered with each other and created Ki explosions that hit both Ryme and Chiller. He did manage to escape the chaos, flying away to create space. WC: 524 TWC: 937

Zero crossed his arms as he watched the drone of their father fighting against his brother, while it was true Zero was looking into other means to increase their powers as of late, there was an excellent reason for that. Once the word got out that they had left the PTO, the PTO might be a bit angry and come after them. So far now Zero needed to push his brother and himself to master their true form. Zero watched his brother and wondered just where he came up with that concept for this ki ball. That was magic was it not? It was hard to tell while watching the combat take place, so if that was the case he had no choice but to join.
"Droid, adjust settings for a free for all combat simulation. The Eyes of the chiller flashed red, it was not time for the stronger of the brother to join the training session too, he was not going to just watch his brother. So with that Command Zero gathered ki within his hands and fired a red sphere at the both of them, once the balls of energy had left his hands he flew from his spot feeling the gravity gnawing at his heels as he did so. He arrived at the Programable Training Dummy a moment after the ki blast struck it, with fulfilled purpose he swatted the bot with his tail, this was a much stronger version of the tail while the one normally used, this tail whip had used about thirty-four to sixty-six percent of his power. That was not the only difference though, there was also those small needle like barbs on his tail that pushed out that toxin into his enemies that would cause the ones struck with it to feel tired quicker in combat, taxing extra energy from them to keep the fight going.
This attack what that combined effort that drove the droid to fly backward towards the wall, but gravity pulled it to the ground. Damn, this was really some tough training but it was far from over. He had forgotten how yes he could move himself with ease throughout the gravity, but it was still tiring like fighting in a pool of water but this pool pulls you down trying to drown you constantly. Once you were tired and no longer to float you would be pulled down into the depths of this pull where death would lay. That was what made this training dangerous, to hell with it though. Training in these conditions would give him the best chance of improving. Now, where had his brother gone? Perhaps this would be a fine reason to learn how to sense power levels. No, they were in a room he need only turn his head around and look about. Doing just that his eyes met his brother's figure, and a smirk covered his face. By now he was sure his brother had recovered from the ki blast he had fired at him earlier, now it was time to see what kind of power his brother had.
Zero was curious about how the toxin would affect his brother, he would have to test this out and get a better idea of it. Zero was looking forward to being able to use this in a real situation, perhaps once he fought another Saiyan he would have the joys of inflicting his toxin into their body. Only time would tell.

Chiller's eyes would glow red, to Ryme it seemed realistic, their father's hatred for Ryme's disappointment for the family-made material. As his brother increased his strength proportionally so that he'd be strong enough to take both of them at the same time. He needed to train as well. More Ki balls would go flying at their father, this time from his brother. It would serve as a distraction for Ryme to attempt another magic orb. He'd be surprised when one of the Ki balls was going straight at him. Ryme didn't have the time or means to dodge the attack. Instead, his armor would augment and shoot out, expanding over his body to reduce the damage.
Before the dust could clear, Ryme shot through the dust dome, the air would rush into the dome as the room cleared. His father had also withstood the attack though he took it directly on. It was while Ryme was free floating next to the ceiling that it hit him. He felt heavier than just the gravity. A natural sluggishness, it was new but he didn't have time to figure it out. He wasn't sure if he was fighting his brother and his dad or what was going on. All he knew was that he'd just have to assume it was both. It was time for attempt 2.
In this attempt, Ryme tried to have his Magic be the base of the attack. He had found that the best way to draw magic out of his body was to focus on his goals and intent. Ryme would empty his mind before starting, thoughts of happiness spilled by, their first time on earth, his first won fight against a bully...all the things he enjoyed. The things he would do to keep them, and what he would do to obtain even more. His magic ball was as fierce as Ki base, then he Layered it with Ki Spikes and tossed it in between his father and Zero. He attempted to make the Ki spikes shoot out as Ki blasts. Instead, the ball exploded, creating another dust cloud between the two.
"ITS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS TAKE THIS"
He'd fire off an array of Ki blasts at both, this time he felt better. It all felt so off, more draining more tiring with every one of his actions. He thought back to his brother's blast, was it different than usual or was this high of gravity just different? Or maybe it was the droid's blast did it have data that he did not? Either way, he knew that something was influencing his body. He'd continue to deal with it until he could discover why. WC: 448 TWC: 1,385

The blast came between them and pushed them in different directions and even knocked Zero to the ground as the ki blast exploded. Zero would take burn damage along his body as he and the droid body slammed into the floor, it was a race to get to their feet first, and Zero lost it. All he saw was his father rocketing to him arm stretched out. Zero placed both hands out in front of his as he blasted the out with red-colored ki firing a beam into the droid and sending it flying across the training room, but once again gravity doing the work to prevent them from flying through the walls.
Zero looked towards his brother as he pointed a finger at him firing two blasts and then hurling himself towards him, the two blasts were faint as Zero used them to set up his Tail Whip attack with even more power than he had hit his father with. I would be with about 50% of his power and had made sure his toxin was being pushed out through his barbs on his tail when he attempted to land the strike on Ryme. Shortly after he had attacked his brother the droid placed three rapid strikes on Zero's back forcing him to fall to the ground grabbing his left side as he hit the floor. Spit flew from his mouth as he panted in pain, he was sure the bot had hit him in the kidney. This would be sure to hurt for the next few days and also a bit of red in his urine he was sure. He had studied his style of combat to prevent things like this to happen in combat, but he did not have much practice in a three way fight. This was going to be tougher than any training he had done with Ryme before.
What Zero found interesting though was how in secret he and Ryme had each started to develop different styled techniques that really favored their fighting styles. His brother had managed to mix magic from Babadi with his ki and make some spike blast, though he heard his brother say it still needed work. He was not sure what the final product would look like but it would be worth keeping an eye on. Meanwhile Zero used biology to enhance his combat style, making his foes use more resources to fight him. He came up with the idea while training his forms. If he could make people feel as drained as he did when he was in his other forms then he could even the playing field.

His attack still wasn't working as intended, it had to be the ratio. Did he need more magic than Ki or vice versa? It was impossible to tell; he'd have to use his process of elimination to figure out what exactly he'd need to do. Maybe a more balanced mix, so far he had tried his separate but equal policy because of his lack of hybridizing the force. He'd have his Ki be the dominant force this time. The magic would just be there to augment, to help push the Ki to the place it needed. Like all the employees in Ika CGLM, they were on their own insignificant. But when directed by someone as powerful and intelligent as the brothers, they became a true icon of power. Ryme would start to gather his energy Ki first, and he'd make the base of the spikes with Ki. Then he'd start to finish up the spikes with magic, it was all coming together so perfectly.
However, Ryme had made a fatal mistake by focusing too hard on improving his attack. He had forgotten about the battle going on around him, he'd be reminded by the two blasts coming at him. He'd harden his armor protecting him from the blasts. He'd almost dodged his brother's tail, but his father had shot him with blasts. Sidestepping the blasts, but taking part of Zero's tail. It had small barbs and he'd feel something enter his body. His blast would erupt early, causing another dust cloud, the damage is minimal as Ryme hadn't finished the technique.
Their "father" had taken the opportunity to copy a move from Zero's book; he slapped down Zero, after firing his blast at Ryme. Ryme would dart across, flying, to the opposite side of the training room. Hoping that he'd be able to get his blast right this time, he wanted to put a dent into either his brother or droid. He knew how hardy their species was, and if they sustained any permanent injuries, they could always find a medical pod. Ryme would once again start to gather his energy, this time focusing on the battle. His brother and father were engaged, which should give him enough time.
He could feel that this Ki ball was closer to his desired technique. Ryme would reposition so that his brother and father were in enfilade. He doubted that his technique was strong enough to go through both of them. Ryme just wanted to practice for his more typical fights where he'd be taking on more than one opponent. He had studied angles and geometry at his brother's request to improve his fighting abilities. At first, Ryme had found the whole idea silly, but it had helped him often in battle. Positioning for a long-range fighter was probably the first, if not second, most effective element in battle.
At the angle, the Ki Ball with spikes was set to impact their droid father first. Ryme wouldn't wait to see the effects, instead deciding to practice his positioning. He'd fly as fast as he could in the gravity chamber staying mobile while firing random Ki blasts. That would be his best strategy against two melee opponents for now. Force them to close the distance and take the damage along the way.

Zero had given Ryme all the prep time he needed to set up his new attack. As he and the Chiller bot were contested in hand to hand combat the ball with spikes hit the droid and then caused their father to hit him. A boom and smoke filled the area, when everything settled Zero noticed cuts in the Programable droid, still it did not seem to cause too much damage. He heard a beep as the eyes of the droid shined bright red. "Changing to balanced fighting" Zero then felt a tail wrap around his throat as he was taken into the air, the chiller bot would fire a purple sparkling beam at Ryme. This is what their father's signature beam is. When it would meet those it hit it would stun them, luckily for Ryme he had moved to get a better shot on the pair when the smoke had filled around them.
Zero, on the other hand, struggled against the grip, becoming annoyed and filled with anger Zero reached his tail around his father's then with all his might pulled Chiller towards him where chill would be met with a furious haymaker that would cause the droid to losen its grip around Zero. Taking this chance Zero readied his toxin again as he used even more of his power about 66% of it and slammed his tail into the father figure before him and watched as it bounced off the ground.
Zero could feel the gravity pulling on him, his body was becoming worn, and his energy levels were starting to deplete. It was becoming more difficult to move in this gravity with the super heavy weights on his body while the gravity tugged on him. His body sagged to the floor as his chest lifted and fell. Zero was wondering if he was the only one to become this exhausted. He had no time to worry too much though, when he lowered his hands down he felt a burning feeling. Looking down he had a cut on his leg. It must have been from his brother's attack earlier. Speaking of, where had Ryme gone off to? Zero scanned the area as he softly touched the ground, not taking any chances Zero held a hand out in front of him as a ki barrier would come into focus around him. He was not sure where his brother had gone off to. If only he had a scouter so he could see where he had gone then this would be easier, after all, what other way was there? So far now it was keeping an eye on Chiller and waiting for him to see where Ryme had repositioned himself, he was sure if he looked around he could see him, but the threat of Chiller was too significant to remove his eyes from.

Ryme had managed to pull it off as he saw the effects of his attack on his father's droid. It would shout a new directive that Ryme didn't quite catch due to him flying through the air. Sweat was dripping from his body, it was weird he felt heavier than before. Like his fatigue wasn't incremental that somehow a new variable had been introduced. He was still firing Ki blasts which would help lower the damage of the next blast from his father. However, with the constant flight, Ki blasts, and attempts at his new power Ryme's body was at its limit. He didn't realize this in time, as he dodged out of the way of his father's blast he plummeted to the ground. He was dizzy, everything had become fuzzier in his vision. That s when he realized he had almost completely drained himself of Ki. He was perplexed he usually had better handling on how much he had in reserve. Ryme did like to fight more dangerously than his brother in that regard. He was the weaker, so it was natural that he would be more reckless with his body. Ryme would give the command to end the training. As the room's gravity switched slowly, he could feel able to stand on two feet. He'd get up slowly careful to not pass out. Once he felt at equilibrium he'd talk to Zero. "Sorry brother, I thought I had more energy I guess I'm not as used to gravity as I thought."He didn't expect that Zero would care too much, though he might reveal he was poisoned. Ryme hadn't really had time to understand the full effects or its source. Walking straight into their kitchen on the ship, he'd find some fluids and a small snack bar to reenergize himself. Then he'd find his brother so they could go over the finer parts of his training. He was content with what he managed to accomplish with his new Ki ball, but he felt there was more he could delve into in his magic/ki techniques. While his brother didn't seem interested in magic he could still give input on how to make his attacks better. Once Zero was done Ryme would give his critiques. I think you did splendid brother, my only comment for the day is that you should come up with something to better close the distance. You were able to easily distract me, but not father, if we ever find ourselves facing more than one powerful foe and they favor a combination similar to ours..."Ryme would go on for a bit detailing different examples of strategies they could try in the meantime. He doubted they'd ever use these tactics, but might made right in the galaxy.
